Perfect example of the plain reason of the text being ignored. Jesus couldn’t be clearer here. If you’re rich, you won’t make it into heaven. But the American Christian needs to negotiate with that text to allow themselves to accumulate wealth. So you have to bend and flex the text to its absolute breaking point so you can feel ok about yourself.

I studied David's writings in the late 80s. His books brought me great peace when I was guarding the west in the Army, in Germany. I miss his writings, got to regain his books when I get enough money. My books were lost in the shipping coming back to America....I had all his great writings....

There is no difference but when you deny peoples baptism there is the problem.

A common trope used against those who hold a Oneness position is that adherents believe the uni-personal YHWH essentially wears a different “mask” to represent each revelation throughout scripture. In other words, when YHWH wants to be the Father, He wears the Father mask, when it’s time to be the Son, it’s the Son mask, or the Spirit mask and so on. Like I said, it’s a trope meant to demean the position. But it’s interesting to note that the opposite seems true for the trinitarian position. Rather than the uni-personal divine person YHWH peering through the eyes of His various masks, it’s any one of the three divine persons peering through a single YHWH mask. So, apparently any given reference to YHWH throughout scripture could actually be any one of the three divine persons, it just depends on the setting or context or, and most importantly, the effort to shore up the doctrine of the preexistent Son . If I’m wrong about this, someone please explain.

Marin Luther adopted the dispensational error that there is one plan of salvatiin for jews( Acts 2:38) and another for the gentiles(Rom.10:9,10). This was partially due to the fact that he was antisemetic and beieved that Acts 2:38 was a works based plan of salvaton. As Dr, Bernard has stressed that saving faith must be demonstrated by obedience to Acts 2:38. Lastly, all of Pauls' books begin with the greeting,"..to the saints of.." So they were all written to already saved believers saved, no doubt,, according to Acts 2:38.

I have experience Miracles upon Miracles in the last four years. I was with a friend, who was totally distress at his wife leaving him for another man. I prayed snd prYed for this man. one distressing day he came to speK to me. whilst on my balcony, (I lived adjacent to a golf course) a while ball was coming at speed towards him. As it came closer, we noticed ot was a bird, a white bird. My friend did not move an inch. The bird opened its wings, flapping them 3 times in his face, the turned and sat on balcony wall. Iy then flew to a near tree, then came back looking at my friend. My heart was over joyed. Sadly he did not get his wife back, but found love in another.

Being well versed in the original Koine Greek of the new testament ,Dr Bernard i woud like to ask you a question. Can the Greek word for " tongues", in Acts and 1Corinthians, be singular and plural depending on how it is applied ?

There’s a world of difference between what Barth is saying and what you all are saying. Barth is not saying that the God of Israel takes the form of the Son, the Father, and the Spirit. All He is saying is that the “Son of God” can be a stand in for all the other members of the Trinity, not ontologically but in representation.

I really appreciated this video. I have a significant amount of theological education. I'm familiar with Barth. I was raised trinitarian Pentecostal but in the last year and a half I've been in a UPCI church. This discussion was very helpful.

I met a guy at an optometry appointment and after praying for healing and seeing it manifest I told him, "I can see that you have the spirit of Christ in you, have you ever received the baptism of the Holy Spirit speaking in tongues?" He said, "No." I asked, "Would you like to?" He said, "Yes." I took his hands and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." I then started to speak in tongues and within about 15 seconds he was speaking in tongues. It was amazing!

I can at least say, I believe a child that was lost in a miscarriage should be in heaven. The Bible says to enter heaven, we need to be born again, but if you weren’t born at all, you don’t have a chance to be born again therefore, I would say that child will be with Jesus in paradise.

I am curious how those who hold to the oneness view reconcile it with those who hold to the Trinitarian view with regard to the transfiguration, as well as the baptism of Jesus, when the Holy Spirit was represented in the form of the dove and God the father‘s voice was heard.

I think that most Christians are Oneness but don't realize it. Once the trinity vs Oneness is explained, most would agree with the latter. People are just so afraid of being labeled a "heretic". We are so blessed by Dr. Bernard's scholarism.

Coming out of the belief in the Trinity 39 years ago makes me greatful daily for coming out of the many errors of its false teachings. Simple: Jesus is the express image of the invisible God. Jesus ... Jehovah has become our salvation.

All Trinitarians believe Jesus is God. If you want to honestly and intellectually criticize Trinitarians show Barth saying that Jesus is the father incarnate. We are not Arians. We don't believe in subordination.

Matthew 28:19 Is in the "Name" singular not "Names" plural.= "Jesus" The Disciples "Never" Baptized in Trinity.

I would like to see some of the “oneness” Trinitarians have an open debate with Dr. Bernard or any others, or heck even an open discussion about this. Maybe like a Dr. Michael Brown, especially since he is charismatic and see how close him and Bernard agree with each other.

Dont forget Jesus said we are all sons of God. I think the seed that God used to impregnate Mary was from the same dna that God used to make Adam. Adam was a perfect creature before sin before dna mutations. Remember Jesus taught us to pray "Our Father" . Jesus never authorized any writtings about himself after he left earth so we must judge all those writtings cautiously knowing that Jesus warned us that many woukd come in his name but are wolves.
